Summary

Description
English: Structure of aplysiatoxin (ATX), a potent tumor promtoer isolated from the digestive gland of a sea hare Stylocheilus longicauda and also from blue-green algae Lyngbya majuscula. ATX is an activator of protein kinase C (PKC) isozymes. Debromo derivative of ATX was also identified.
