  • diffhist m Latin regional pronunciation 13:31 +44Volfus Dăcescu talk contribs(I modified the greek pronunciations again, changed at the pronunciation of 'oe' and added the possibiloty of /ø/ since the cited book says 'oe' is pronounced like "french 'eu" , but most greeks would pronounce it like /e/. Another change I did was adding /x/ and /ç/ for greek pronunciation of 'h' since /h/ does not exist in greek phonology and the cited book even says that latin 'h' sounds like greek 'χ' (which is pronounced /x/ and /ç/.) • diffhist Latin regional pronunciation 12:36 −11Volfus Dăcescu talk contribs(Corrected the following greek pronunciations of latin letters : 'ch' in latin is read /k/ because it's not considered the same as greek 'χ' even though 'ch' comes from greek 'χ', the sounds /øː/ and /tɪ/ don't even exist in greek phonology, their correct pronunciation of 'oe' and 'ti' are /e/ and /ti/ for latin greek pronunciation, and the sound of /j/ dosen't exist in greek and they instead say /ʝ/) Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
