Timur Okutman, famous baroque soloist, natural castrato | Sopranista. He is also known for his unique voice register from bass to soprano.

Timur Okutman was born in İstanbul at June 23, 1974. In 1988, he began his musical life with guitar education and later continued with singing.
His first professional performance was in İstanbul with the Group UK in 1996, in which group he pursued his early musical career.
In 1999, he organized his musical group named ADR and he sang different repertoires from world music with this group in Bodrum.
In 2000, he moved to his home in Fethiye and continued his musical works, there. He had an opportunity to improve his singing technique with International Cabaret Venue while he was working at St. Nicholas Park.
In 2002, he decided to concentrate solely on his studies regarding Opera. He became a student of A.Prof.Leyla Pınar after met with her.
In 2007, He met with Actor Tenor Patrik Lange in Istanbul Baroque Festival and he had listen himself and took his praises. He joined the same festival as quest artist and he sang Gf.Haendel’s Lascia Chi’o Pianga aria known from Rinaldo Opera.
At October 19, 2007 - He sang Composer Sibelius’s Kullervo Op.7 Symphony with İstanbul European Choir at the season opening concert of the İstanbul State Symphony Orchestra in Aya İrini. (Conductor Alexander Rahbari)
At 2007 December - He listed in Spanish Classical Music Portal as clasiforonuevo.superforos one of Today's Classical Singers who has Grand Voices, and described as “Without doubt an artist whose promising race we must follow with extreme attention.”
At the same year - He recorded G.Puccini's Nessun Dorma & Emma Shapplin’s Spente le Stelle and widely enjoyed by his listeners.
At March 31, 2008 - He joined the 14 th Istanbul Baroque Festival and performed some baroque and Genoa arias in Galata Art Center.
At 2008 December He had a part in a Christmas Psalms CD Project with Leyla Pınar, which recorded in Saint Antoine Catholique Church, contains some composes of Padre Luigi Iannitto’s music.
Timur Okutman is a one of a few natural castrato singer in the world. He brings the past castratos time today with his voice and his repertoire and takes us to a time travel which is never will seen and live again and he makes possibility to listen and have an idea about this lost voice for us.
Now, N.Castrato Timur Okutman is working with A.Prof.Leyla Pınar and her Baroque Group "İstanbul Baroque".
