Recategorization[edit]

What is the purpose of recategorizing article from Category:Pedophile organizations to Category:Pedophile activism? -Will Beback 06:58, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To make the category slightly broader; I think it's sensible to categorize articles like Paedophile Information Exchange with Lindsay Ashford and pedophile activism. JayW 19:41, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A) Where was the discussion of this poroposal? There is a procedure for changing/renaming/deleting categories which does not seem to have been followed. Order of Titles[edit]

"David Thorstad" should be under T, not D. Could someone please change this. Also, why are "Pro-pedophile activism" and "ANU (paedophile activism)" outside of the regular list? Considering how most other category pages go, these titles should be in the alphabetized section, just like all others.

Also, could somone possibly inform me how to edit category pages like this one. I would make the necessary changes myself, but do not know how.

Category:Sex victim advocacy[edit]

Not necessarily. Some might, but being a victim of a sex crime is not directly linked to the diagnosis of pedophilia, and it's doubtful that even pedophiles themselves would assert this to be a major part of their identity. ~ Homologeo (talk) 09:44, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What is To Catch a Predator doing here?[edit]

My change has just been reverted by User:EvergreenFir on the grounds that the page contains both anti- and pro- articles--which raises the question, why is there an anti-paedo category then? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ZarhanFastfire (talk • contribs)

@ZarhanFastfire and Flyer22: This is indeed confusing. It seems that the pro/anti has been there for years. Back in October 2013, Jarble added the see also to Category:Anti-pedophile activism (see [1]). The Category:Anti-pedophile activism was created in 2011 (see [2]).
