May I suggest that for every anatomical article with a Latin/Greek name that the etymology of the term is explained? 213.121.241.210 (talk) 02:34, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:Wimpus[edit]

I removed the supposedly other latin forms of m buccinator, since those are not used anymore. I saw these forms were introduced by User:Wimpus, I warn you for his edits on latin anatomical nomenclature. He has great knowledge of the etymology of anatomical latin nomenclature, but the problem is that he introduces outdated latin forms of the words that are no longer used anymore. On dutch wikipedia, with just a small numberof medically equipped users, he managed to wrongfully change the anatomical nomenclature of hundreds of pages. He is very persisting in his POV and even now we discovered his vandalism, he still persists in being right. It is sad. I also question the etymology part of the page: I wouldn't trust it completely. Thank you for noting this, Maxwvb. If you want to notify other editors, WT:ANATOMY (talk page for WP:ANATOMY) is a useful place to put this message. --Tom (LT) (talk) 08:38, 1 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
