The U.S. in the video game Metal Gear Solid 2[edit]

The U.S. in the video game Metal Gear Solid 2 was ruled by a cryptocracy in which the rulers behind the governement were The Patriots. Someone whould put that in there. not me, I'm not very good at editing.

Khmer Roughe Example[edit]

Khmer Rouge's rule can be a real life of Cryptocracy.

For the first two years of Khmer Rouge regime, most Cambodians had no idea who was running the country. The Communist Party of Kampuchea (CPK), the political movement behind the Khmer Rouge, believed that secrecy was one of the best tools for controlling the population. The Cambodian people didn't even know the CPK existed. All they were told was that the country was now run by Angka. Redirect?[edit]

In light of of the fact that the term “Cryptocracy” is a neologism and that the article lacks more the one citation for verification, should we merge it with the Synarchism article or some other article? --Loremaster (talk) 22:28, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yep. Moreover, the citation comes from a book on software design and the word seems to be coined for organisational behaviour, not politics.--Jack Upland (talk) 22:42, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
