Choice of target

@Onel5969 and Sakura Cartelet: I don't understand the reason for sending this to Major depressive disorder, or for restoring that as the target when someone has changed it to Depression. Typically, when someone describes something as "depressing" they don't mean it has sent them into a major depressive disorder. They mean that it creates a depressing mood. For that reason, Depression (mood) is a more sensible target. Further, "depressed" can just as easily refer to the mood as the clinical condition, so Depressed should redirect to the disambiguation page Depression. For consistency, Depressing could actually be restored to its original target, Depression, as well. The same argument goes for Depresses and Depress. If you feel otherwise, can you please explain? The depression article itself is a (currently) a disambiguation page combined with the fact the person had not explained any or their other edits caused me to revert it. I have no idea about the format and it probably doesn't do any good so I suppose the piped redirect can be changed to remove the pipe... although it doesn't appear to do any harm as is. As for the targets for the redirects what you suggested sounds like a good idea, so feel free to implement it. Sakura Cartelet^Talk 21:54, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
