Hello, This will hopfully be reveiwed sooner than the last comment; considering it is Febuary 7th 2008. I love being a DSP nurse so it is worth a shot trying to get some answers. When working in Illinois as a DSP nurseI was tained through my company, now that I have moved to Florida because of the different requirment and mainly confidentaility I am unable to find a job as a DSP. I know more than likely I will have to be retrained, but I have spent days just looking for somewhere to apply. Any suggestions on how to find/locate any mentally handicapt housing/facilities? 1:16PM Feb. 7th 2008. Article Improvement[edit]

Wow, this article is pretty bad. I might be able to work on it, but only slowly. In the meantime, I've marked the links that are currently dead, and I've taken care of what I thought was the worst of the non-neutral language. Developmental Disabilities versus Intellectual Disabilities[edit]

The initial sentence was lacking the term "developmental disabilities". There is a common misconception that the terms "intellectual disability" (IQ score of 70 or below in the U.S., formerly known as "mental retardation") is synonymous with "developmental disabilities" (which includes people who have scores higher than 70, including those with "savant syndrome"). Therefore, there's growing consensus that, where one term is mentioned, we need to mention the other as well. So I added it. Do other contributors here agree? Thanks!
