In spite of his atheism, Freud designed late in life a synagogue[edit]

Article states "In spite of his atheism, Freud designed late in life a synagogue for a Jewish hospital in London."" When you are an architect, have you got to be a devout Jew in order to design a synagogue? I don't think so. Cyan22 (talk) 10:50, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion of subjects[edit]

he fudges his parents' non-appearance at his 1950 church wedding to actress Jill Raymond

This makes it sound like Ernst was "fudging" regarding his parents' non-attendance -- which is impossible since his father (Sigmund) died in 1939. What's the story here? --Michael K SmithTalk 12:09, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

At least a case of bad writing: Ernst Freud's son, a "secondary subject" in the paragraph, is complaining about his own parents, primary subject. --Askedonty (talk) 17:05, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
