The result of the move request was: not moved. Favonian (talk) 20:43, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Character" is not needed. The only sensible reason to protest this move would be because of the episodes called "JJ", which is not a strong argument. Unreal7 (talk) 22:29, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • histmerge the two pages together. An earlier version of the article exists at the target. 70.24.244.198 (talk) 10:59, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Unnecessary disambiguation. Jenks24 (talk) 07:43, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Ah, I hadn't noticed J. J. Jones. Agree with JHunterJ that there's no indication the fictional character is the primary topic. Jenks24 (talk) 09:39, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, JJ Jones is ambiguous, no indication given that this is primary. -- JHunterJ (talk) 20:37, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Comment J.J. Jones can be a disambiguation page instead. It's halfway between this JJ and J. J. Jones. 70.24.248.211 (talk) 03:54, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Or JJ Jones can be a disambiguation page, since the title is ambiguous. Is there some indication that the Skins character is the primary topic for "JJ Jones"? -- JHunterJ (talk) 17:12, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Close to borderline, but there's nothing to indicate any problem with the current setup, with the borderline nonnotable footballer J. J. Jones at that title, a two-way DAB at JJ Jones, and the fictional character (always spelled without the fullstops) disambiguated. Andrewa (talk) 13:41, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
