Perhaps the category should be renamed "Adolescent pregnancy"? The closest Japanese equivalent to "teeneger" (十代 jūdai "the tens") encomapsses 10–19-year-olds. Curly Turkey¡gobble! 08:37, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'd be fine with a rename of the cat. —Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:05, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well technically it would be preadolescent if the pregnant female was younger than 12. Michael Demiurgos (talk) 00:49, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that's an issue that should be taken up at the Teenage pregnancy article, then. Please keep in mind that "teenage" derives a very English-specific linguistic quirk that is gibberish in other languages (French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese ...) The conecpt is "adolescent pregnancy", and the concept must take priority over hairsplitting over etymology. Curly Turkey¡gobble! 00:57, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you look up the definition of teen pregnancy, you will see that it refers to all pregnancies where the birth occurs before the mother reaches the age of 20. There is no minimum age for it to be considered a teen pregnancy. —Farix (t|c) 23:17, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
