Oppose: per WP:ENGVAR should use the Pakistani/British spelling, as well as the reasons mentioned above. — Yours, Berrely • Talk∕Contribs 18:48, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Strong Oppose per WP:ENGVAR and per arguments above, this article should used Pakistani/British spellings, as it have strong colonial ties to Britain before independence. Privatisation in Australia formerly had named "Privatization" in 2019 but now changed to "Privatisation" because how Australian English spelling mention that (ise preferred over ize). 180.241.205.155 (talk) 22:28, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose given that "privatisation" seems to be somewhat more dominant in Pakistani English spelling. (For an example of what I mean by "somewhat": the Ministry of Privatisation (Pakistan) states on their homepage at www.privatisation.gov.pk that they are entrusted with the task of privatizing federal government assets). 59.149.124.29 (talk) 07:18, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Strong oppose There's a tag on this page that the article is written in Pakistani English! blindlynx (talk) 07:43, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. I see no reason to adopt American spelling here, and proposer hasn't really provided any. Walrasiad (talk) 19:44, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. ENGVAR, RETAIN, TITLECHANGES. Bad idea. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:22, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per all above. This isn't American Wikipedia. And the current spelling isn't "old school" in Commonwealth English. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:41, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
