IMTFE verdict[edit]

According to the IMTFE verdict, Shimada was found guilty on Counts 1, 27, 29, 31 and 32; all of which relate to waging wars of aggression. He was found not guilty on Counts 54 & 55, which relate to war crimes. Accordingly, the article text and categorisation which states he was convicted of war crimes is incorrect.
