"Teinturier" does NOT mean to dye or stain in French. That would be "teindre". "Teinturier" is a noun, not a verb, and it means "a dyer" or, in its more modern use, "a dry-cleaner". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.208.79.63 (talk) 12:25, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
