Potentially Expanding on the Article

Hello, I wanted to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how much has been written on transgender people in China. This is one of two topics that I will choose to help improve -- for this article, I feel that there are some statements that are either opinionated or without citations (e.g. "China and greater China... have transphobia). While that statement may or may not be correct, I feel like it is a very strong one to be making. I would also want to work on the history of transgender movements in China, as I feel that there is now more literature to expand upon what has already been written. Finally, I think that there is a very interesting relationship between gender identity, sex change, and the Chinese legal system that could potentially be informative as well. Lead sentence needs definition
