Dear all, I am also A type personality. As soon as I knew it, I went on to study all about it and foud the related information very useful for self correctness. I am examining the shortcomings of my personality and also the traits of my personality which greately affect other fellows. I am feeling very sorry about my behaviors in past with fellows. Perhaps I was not having enough knowledge of this and nobody bothered to inform me of this with authenticity and reference. People were anoid from me because I never spared anyone about their duties. On the other hand I never gave my bosses any chance to surface a charge of irresponsible, un-loyality, non-dedication or dishonesty. For this I had to do more work than average people do. Perhaps this kept me uneasy all the time. I wanted to move all resources as per planning. Even if my planning was not good and as a result, some malfunctioning occured, I blammed myself for this and got angry with myself. I belive that this also affected my health greatly. Neck cracking, stretching of musceles at neck and shoulders, disorder with stomach are known to me. Regarding coronary problems, I am not much sure to what extent I am affected.

Hopefully, someone may get some lesson from it and can improve his personality. I too expect from the readers to help me out in this matter. Thanks & regards. Engr. Muhammad Asif Iqbal (Pakistan) E-mail: info@multivision.com.pk

Type A people actually provoke hostility due to their indifference toward others. Their time is apparently more important than the rest of us because what they are doing is more important. Once you realize that Type A people are more important than you are its doesn't bother you as much.

The selfishness associated with someone who exibits the Type A personality disorder only derives from their actions in relation to Type B and Type C people.

Exhibiting passive-aggressive traits myself I am often provoked by Type A individuals as they cut me off on the freeway or get in the "10 Items or Less" line with their full cart of groceries. -66.250.195.90

psychopathic tendencies?

I don't have a WP:V source on it (I heard it on a BBC world service broadcast) so I can't put it on the page, but apparently lots of high power managers, who are predominantly type A, suffer from psychopathic tendencies.

Improperly named

If type B personality redirects here, then this article is not named accordingly. Personality type is taken so I'm not sure what to suggest. Type A and B personalities seems too long and awkward. I'd go for splitting just as much as renaming. Cburnett 22:33, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Type B personality doesn't have any meaning outside of Type A theory, so the suggestion was made to put them in the same article. I see your point about the name being not quite appropriate, though, and I also agree that Type A and B personalities would be very awkward indeed. I'd go for splitting them up again, but the theory is hardly worth multiple entries, in my opinion. --Jcbutler 20:27, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
This page is Type A centric because we're the leaders, the go-getters, and overshadow the Type B's. Get off your butts and do something about it!
