This document - http://www.leeds.ac.uk/disability-studies/archiveuk/finkelstein/03%20-%20Extraction%20from%20UPIAS%20Circular.pdf - amongst other things clearly sets out the distinction between "Impairment" "Handicap" and "Disability" which are core concepts for the Social model of disability. BTW Impairment and Handicap both redirect (via disambiguation pages) to Disability, I believe we can make a case for separate articles for each concept.
