Do we need a new category - "pages that have been translated and that need a native speaker to review" ?
I've cleaned up the syntax and added some facts. I have personally stood in a valve hall while the valve was running ( 250 kV, 2000 A), so it's not strictly true that no-one can enter while the valve is running. I may have a picture of a valve hall from the outside - for an inside view see Nelson River Bipole. Shielding is vital - outdoor oil-filled valves are shielded by the tanks.
Is this sort of article encyclopediac? As fascinated as I am with all things HVDC, for example, will anyone use this?
