The Massachusetts State Crime Lab scandal refers to a series of events at the William A. Hinton State Laboratory Institute in Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Chemist Annie Dookhan is accused of mishandling and falsifying samples of illegal drugs in such a manner which casts doubt upon the criminal convictions of many people in Massachusetts.
