My memories are endless (part 2)[edit]

My first memories ....

1. Rancangan Seterusnya Sebentar Lagi

That was the slide used in the 1990s used by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM). It means "The Next Programme FOLLOWS SHORTLY". The slide was use when there is a problem .The slide has a background of rectangles and mixed colours of red and pink. In 2000, the slide changed to a new look, a collection of programme slides from two channels on a film strip. Today, the slide in now named as "Kembali Selepas Ini" as it used since the rebranding excercise.

2. Another slide of the 1990s used by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), it has a cake and sweets. It says do not eat sweets and cakes to much because it is high in colestrol.

3. The TV3 ident in the late 1990s since 1 January 1994 established first since 1990, is simillar to Channel Ten in Australia 1991. The TV3 ident starts with a television monitor standard-definition television at terrestrial digital terrestrial television screen forming, then the the three colours of TV3 (blue, yellow and red) shooting out from the screen. My memories are endless (part 3)[edit]

Announcement :Muslims does not celebrate April Fools!

Welcome back. I hope you enjoy the memories that I share wiith all of you ! Now here are another series of my memories:

1. Clocks. I want to share how the TV3 clock looks like in the 1984. The sponsors for the TV3 News clock bulletins are as follows:

a. Raymond Weil (1 June 1984 until 1 January 1996)

b. Standard Chartered Bank. (31 December 1997 until 1 January 2003)

c. Bumiputra-Commerce Bank. (1 January 2003 until 1 January 2005)

d. CIMB Bank. Bank on us to see beyond. (1 January 2005 until 1 January 2007)

e. Raymond Weil (Since 1 January 2007)

My question is when does the TV3 clock was firsr shown? Was it after moving to Sri Pentas? Anyone knows outthere?

2. Public information advertisement in the 1990s - I remember there was 3.

a. Diabetic - It starts with a B&W shot over black band at the up and down - A lot of people was having dinner and it ends with a small family - a father, a mother and a child. They were jogging. Then goes with a logo surrounding over the white background. Then, Utamakan Kesihatan logo with the Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia. The UK logo (please, no confusion with British) is so scary out there. The music is scary at the very end of the diabetis. I am also remember a brief at very end of all MfTM ads which said "Tunggang Dengan Cermat. (then a click showing a green colour rope) Ingatlah Orang Yang Tersayang". Then a brief look at the Emblem of Malaysia with showing, "Kementerian Pengangkutan Malaysia", over a white background.

3. I felt scared when I recalled these memories. Don't leave your child alone. It was a public information advertisement in the 90s (1999).

a) A baby was playing with his toys. The baby took some pills (medicine). He thought it was colourful chocolates . The baby ate it.

b) The baby went to the kitchen, He touched the kettle. He thought it was a train . It sounds like the toy train series [Thomas and Friends].

c) The baby hold the spoons and forks. The baby thought it was a toy and plays with it.

d) The baby goes to the bathroom and play with water.

e) The last scene was the baby goes outside. No one is monitoring him. It was too late!A car is coming towards him.

A 1999 Health and Safety Campaign while the second is the Utamakan Kesihatan logo, * Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia* written at the third over the white background. Almost all these advert was written in Bahasa Melayu.

There are two versions: Malay language background and English background . That was frightening isn't it ?

All these are from my memories. If you have any memories to share or any comment, please write to me with your name and email. I will reply to you.

And one last thing, it is my mum's birthday today. My mother's name is Hidayati Basri. Goodbye and don't celebrate April Fools!

My memories are endless (Part four)[edit]

Sorry everyone cause I have a 3-days break .

It was a comedy series called "Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu" which was set up in a Malay restaurant at Rumah Pangsa Sri Wangi.I don't really follow it but what I recall was at the end of the slot there will be this announcement: "Rancangan ini telah divideokan di hadapan penonton di Studio Cinematic" (This programme has been video taped in front of live audience at Studio Cinematic)

Do you know when it was first aired? Do you know that they use recorded laugh tracks or live laugh tracks from the audiences? Where is the Studio Cinematic located?

If you have any comments or memories you want to share, please send to me. Good bye.Khairul hazim 22:53, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
