Neal Boortz, the sixth overall rated talk show host in America, has coined and/or made popular many sayings over the years that are used on his radio program, The Neal Boortz Show. Since listeners may not be familiar with Neal's sayings, he keeps a dictionary of Boortzisms, termed the "Boortztionary", of most of them on his website.[1] Many of these jargons or neologisms have been adopted by other media personalities. All terms are from Boortz's radio program or website unless otherwise cited.

A - C[edit]

  • AMF: "Adios my friend, or, the grittier original version, adios mother-f***er[1]
  • Alabamastan: Neal's nickname for the state of Alabama[1][2]
  • The Antichrist: His nickname for fellow talk show host Michael Savage[1]
  • The Baby Jesus: A nickname for fellow talk show host Sean Hannity; also known as Cutie Pie[1]
  • The Beast with Two Backs: A man and woman having sex
  • Big Al and the Boys: A male's sex organs
  • Bravo Foxtrot Delta: Big F*cking Deal
  • BFD: Big Freakin' Deal[3]
  • The Breck Girl: nickname for former Senator John Edwards
  • Bumsickle: A frozen homeless person
  • Cruella de Ville: Dr. Laura[1]
  • Cutest little jihadist in Congress: the name for former congressman, Cynthia McKinney because she received so much funding from the Muslim community even though they were not in here district[4][5][6][7]

  • Discussing the Big Bang Theory: two people having sex[1]
  • Downloading a Tricycle Motor: a woman giving birth
  • Dog Squeeze: dog poop
  • DRT: "Dead Right There"[1]
  • Emeroids: A term used for Left-wing students at Emory University in Atlanta, GA[3]
  • Ex-Wife, The: WGST, Neal's former employer prior to his current place at WSB
  • Farding: A word derived from the French language which means any kind of "face painting." Used by Boortz to refer to a woman applying her makeup while driving[3]
  • Federal Censorship Commission (FCC): Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
  • Firing the Surgeon General: "masturbating. Former Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders was fired by President Clinton after she said that masturbation "is something that is part of human sexuality and its part of something that perhaps should be taught."[1]
  • Flatbelly: a young, thin, hot woman
  • Flaggots: Boortz's term for the Flaggers of Georgia who were up in arms over then Governor Roy Barnes change of the state flag from the old confederate flag to the current flag.[8]
  • Food For Worms: Dead
  • FUBAR: f***ed up beyond all repair
  • Funbags: Neal's nickname for female breasts

  • Gargoyle, The: the name given to Kim Jong Il, ruler of North Korea, on the show
  • Gator: Neal's boss at WSB
  • Godfather, The: "Rush Limbaugh[1]
  • Government school or government indoctrination center: his term for public schools, since they the employees are paid by the government, and it is run by the government
  • Hildabeast, The: "Hillary Clinton. Also known as Shrillary[1][9]
  • Hitting with a corked bat: Royal Marshall's description/term for using Viagra
  • I am the High Priest of the Church of the Painful Truth: self explanatory[10]
  • Insurmountable odd: A nickname for a lesbian

  • Lardassification: the increasing waistlines of Americans
  • Loser lounge: the smoker's aquarium or room found at airports
  • Love commando: A male's Penis
  • Love you long time: The term Boortz uses and prefers over the much hated, "long time listener first time caller"[10]

M - O[edit]

  • Making tricycle motors: a man and woman having sex
  • Media Myrmidons: nickname for Media Matters[11]
  • Mexifornia: Neal's nickname for California [12]
  • Mip and mup: "OK, here's a little inside radio for you folks. Mipping and mupping is slang for someone on the air not speaking any legible or understandable manner. The term comes from the sound a broadcast tape cart that has been improperly erased. Using a monotone voice just say 'mip mup mip mup mip mup mip mup' quickly... you'll see what I'm talking about."[1]
  • Myrmidon: a person who faithfully follows and carries out orders without question
  • Netdog: The guy who who does online research and screens emails for Boortz at WSB
  • News Ferrets: The nickname for news reporters
  • NIMBY: Not In My Back Yard

P - R[edit]

  • Panama City License Plate: a tailbone tattoo
  • Pig Farmer, The: Pete Spriggs, the program director for Neal's flag ship station WSB
  • Pink Nosed Puppies: female breasts
  • The Poodle: "John Kerry, referring to him as Teresa's lap dog. Also sKerry or the Souffle[1]
  • Pound sand: taken from the longer phrase "doesn't have enough sense to pound sand down a rat hole." This is used suggesting that someone who "pound sand" is like telling them to "go fly a kite."
  • Puddin' stick: A mountain term for an instigator. Neal often uses it refer to a mischief who deliberately brings up a very touchy controversial topic on his show, like evolution, then they step back watching and grinning like a satisfied troublemaker who successfully just "stirred the pudding"[3]
  • Rapidly Reaching Room Temperature: Another term used for Dead
  • Rectal cranial inversion: slang for, head up ones ass

  • Sales Weasels: the term for the "account executives" at GSB
  • She Who Must Be Obeyed or The Queen: "his wife, Donna[1]
  • Slogan-Master: nickname for Jesse Jackson because of how he likes to come of with slogans[13]
  • Smoker's Aquarium: "the glassed in smoking section at the airport[1]
  • Somebody's got to say it: Boortz continually uses this expression to inform that since no one out there is saying these things be it politically incorrect or whatever, somebody's, meaning him, has got to say it[10][14]
  • Squeaky: the nickname for Veronica Waters, a female reporter at Neal's flagship station WSB
  • STB: Shoot The Bastard, used in reference to looters
  • SWAG: Scientific Wild Assed Guess
  • Taking the Eternal Celestial Dirt Nap and sometimes Eternal celestial dirt-nap: though this is self explanatory, it means Dead
  • Tango Uniform: "Phonetic Alphabet acronym for "Toes Up" a.k.a. dead; You guys wouldn't let us get away with that. Okay, it's really "tits up".[1]
  • Tax Payer Funded Child Abuse: the term for Government Education, as opposed to Private Education
  • Thanks A Pantload: Boortz expressing gratitude for unnecessary or unwanted favor from someone
  • Tonsil Boxing: Deep kissing with tongues
  • Tramp Stamp: A tailbone tattoo
  • Tort King: Neal's nickname for former Senator John Edwards

  • Urban Outdoorsman: the name for a homeless person
  • Urban Yodeling: excessively drawn-out oscillating notes used in R&B music
  • Vagitarian: lesbian
  • WAG: wild-assed guess
  • Waldo the One-eyed Trouser Snake: penis

Self given nicknames[edit]

  • America's most under-rated and over-paid radio talk show host: self explanatory[15]
  • America's Rude Awakening
  • High Priest of the Church of the Painful Truth[14]
  • Mighty Whitey[14]
  • The Mouth of the South
  • SAWB or Smart Ass White Boy- Andrew Young made a statement about some powerful whites in Atlanta, as Smart Ass White Boys, and it was shortly after that that Neal Boortz started referring to himself as a SAWB.[16]
