Two days ago I was approached by a friend of Jennifer Jenkins regarding deletion of mention of her book. My message of explanation was as follows: "A similar edit for the same book was already deleted earlier as WP:SPAM. Deletion will always follow personal promotions of this kind according to editing guidelines. Proper sourcing should not be a commercial announcement but some acknowledgement in the press of an objective kind that the work is notable." I hope you are not about to start WP:editwarring over this. The proper procedure now would be to raise your concerns on the article's Talk page. Sweetpool50 (talk) 11:17, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
