I agree that this article can definitely use some other examples of assertiveness to better explain assertiveness as a whole. It does not do it justice to simply explain the basic term "assertiveness". This article can use some more citations and some more characteristics of assertiveness and like mentioned above, when it is appropriate to be assertive and when is it not appropriate. Also, giving examples of when it is or is not appropriate would suffice.
