Elroy Amalathas is an Executive Producer, Film Actor, Musician, Screenwriter, Director, Producer, Playback Singer, Choreographer, Wildlife Photographer and lyricist who works primarily in the Sri Lanka Television, Film and Media industry.

He traveled and investigates for the purpose of discovery of information or resources. Adventure and Travel Explorer also his part of the life achievement.

Elroy has won several Sri Lankan Music awards including eleven National Awards and 11 Best Awards. With eight submissions, Elroy's production company, E8 International, has produced several of his films and commercial advertising. Elroy Amalathas received the President award Sri Lanka, International award Korea in 2000 and the Palkalai thandral in 2008.

Early life and family[edit]

Elroy Amalathas was born on May 8th in Sri Lanka. He lived in Jaffna and Colombo Sri Lanka. He is the 2nd son of Asst. Director of Education - Jaffna North Province later S.S.P. Amalathas and lady Fattima Aloysius. Elroy was educated at Jaffna St.Patricks College and Batticaloa St.Micheals College in Sri Lanka. He finished Visual Communication and Software Engineering. He has faced many challenges to reach his ambition. His family especially Father, Mother, Teachers, friends and Well-wishers play a vital role in his achievements.

In 2004-2005 He did Nijathin Nizhal Tele drama in Shakthi TV production, 2006 Vattina Tharu ITN Tele dreama, 2007 Kadhal Devathai Isai Elavarasarkal Music Video, 2014-2015 Punnagai film Shakthi Chinna thirai , Sila nerangalil Sila manithargal film Shakthi Chinna thirai , Thoondil meen film Shakthi Chinna thirai , Irendu film Shakthi Chinna thirai in Shakthi TV, 2014 Yaro Oruvan short film , 2015 Appa Samay film His talent to the world was an advertisement from Dyn adds Modeler and Shakthi TV Commercial Adds model. Moreover, He won the best actor award in film industry, so many directors reached him to sign many projects. This is how his journey in cinema field has started.

Travel explorer[edit]

Travel exploration is his favorite passion also he is a nature lover.

Singing[edit]

His singing career has started far before the acting career. He has started singing at Commercials and stage musical shows. He have own musical groups Vidiyalin Ragangal and Little Roses He did Organist and singing, Church choir and Ogustra campaign Carroll.
