Texan vs. Texian[edit]

I reverted your edit on the Mexican-American War article. While modern-day residents of the US state of Texas are known as Texans, the term Texian specifically refers to Anglo-American residents of Texas while it was a Mexican state and a sovereign nation. Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Treaty of Versailles, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Noted your post on Sotomayor. While the NY jury instruction document is relevant, the anonymous poster attributed remarks to Sotomayor that weren't in the NY Times article - which is not to say she did not say them, just that we need a reference to it.
