Submission declined on 30 April 2024 by Dcotos - Lena Snow[edit]

Hello, I would like you to help me.

Can you please explain the difference in notability / quality of my article draft

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Lena_Snow

to this accpeted article

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_W%C3%B6lk

Your criticism told me that I miss secondary sources outside the field.

I analyzed the sources of the other article:

1. Source inside the art field - art gallery

2. Source inside the art field - Art blog

3. Source offline

4. Source inside the art field - Art blog

5. Source inside the art field - Art magazine

6. Source inside the art field - artist's own website  - self-reference

7. Source offline

8. Source inside the art field - art gallery

9. Source inside the art field - Art blog

10. Source offline

11. Source offline

12. Source inside the art field - Art blog

So, as you can see, there are no sources outside the art business as well - according to your criteria this article should be denied either.

Please tell me, what you need to match your expectations, so I can bring this article into wikipedia - as the artist I write about is real, internationally published and exhibited since 2020.

This can be proven by 56 sources which are independent of each other. This is a lot for an artist, who is considered as not notable by you, I have to underline.

I cited 56 real online sources - many more than the article about Anne Wölk. I got even more if you need it to proof the authenticity.

Any help or tips are welcome.

Thank you in advance. JEbert68 (talk) 10:05, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@JEbert68 Most of the sources were not reliable as per WP:BIO to meet Basic criteria, People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. Blog, social media sites, PR news are not reliable sources. Happy editing! Dcotos (talk) 15:42, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
