Grady[edit]

What an excellent example of a good high school article. I doubt anyone will try to delete it, but don't worry about it. I lived in Atlanta for a long time -- very interesting. Tfine80 22:58, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Henry Grady[edit]

Hey Gnirts, nice to see some other Atlanta people doing some edits. One thing, I noticed some of the text to be very similar to a webpage on mindspring... just make sure you write things in your own words and cite sources. Do you have any interest in tackling William B. Hartsfield or Ivan Allen Jr.? They're both pretty sparse but I've had zero time to do research lately. See you around! Requested templates[edit]

Wikipedia:Template namespace is a place to start. Templates are really easy to create, but you might want to give some thought to it before you create one. In addition, you can check out the Template sandbox if you'd like to practice your template-making skills. I notice there is already a proposed idea for a school Infobox#Schools, which might be turned into a template once someone decides to implement it. Before you take any action, there seems to be a WikiProject devoted to schools in general WP:PJSCH that you might consider joining (if you're interested in that sort of thing) or at least consulting before you attempt to implement any particular template. Have fun! --Kooky | Talk 06:02, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation[edit]

Hi, I noticed you added an entry to the CIA (disambiguation) page - disambiguation page entries should follow a certain style set out in MoS:DP. I changed your edit to reflect this. Thanks/wangi 01:02, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:WWEV.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:WWEV.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 10:11, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Henry W. Grady High School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article seems to be copied from http://www.grady70-79.com/member_survey_form.cfm?SurveyID=15733 (duplication detector: https://tools.wmflabs.org/dupdet/compare.php?url1=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FHenry_W._Grady_High_School&url2=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.grady70-79.com%2Fmember_survey_form.cfm%3FSurveyID%3D15733&minwords=2&minchars=13), this is against WP:C-P.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
