Ganglion cells[edit]

Thank you for your wonderful work recently! We've certainly needed a proper historical update on the very recent history.

Now I've been looking at the various articles and wondering if we really need so many. They overlap and some are probably redundant.

  • Photosensitive ganglion cell is where I discovered your work. The combination of enthusiasm and correctly sourced facts is great. (I hope no one comes along to dampen the enthusiasm... Also, some may feel there's too much emphasis on the names of researchers. I like it, but some may not.) I've done some formatting, adding headings and rewording. If you don't like something I've done there, please correct it.
  • Photoreceptor cell. I see that you've added much of the same text here. That's hardly ideal. These two could have been combined, but that would make a too-long article with too little emphasis on the photosensitive ganglion cells, I think. So probably this one should have a summary section, pointing to Photosensitive ganglion cell.

I should admit that I'm not a scientist, just very interested. Since I was diagnosed with Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome (now Disorder), I've been training myself to read and, to some degree, understand pertinent articles/studies, starting with circadian rhythms. I still have more questions than answers!

I'm watchlisting this page, in case you wish to answer here. --Hordaland (talk) 00:40, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
