Notability of Scott Shen[edit]

A tag has been placed on Scott Shen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Three revert rule on Salman Rushdie[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Salman Rushdie. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. MoS:BIO#Honorific_prefixes says:

The honorifics Sir and Dame should be included in the text inline for baronets, knights bachelor, and members of knightly orders whose rank grants them that dignity, provided that they do not hold a higher dignity, such as a peerage, which trumps that usage.

Rushdie is unquestionably a knight bachelor and so the MoS requires that we add "Sir" to the text inline. If you don't like it, work towards getting the MoS changed. Marnanel 03:54, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
