Shan wells[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Shan wells, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Shan wells. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Page has been replaced with information that satisfies the criteria for inclusion. Please notify why this should not be so. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shantroywells (talkcontribs) 13:23, September 22, 2006

This entry has already been sent to articles for deletion. Verification was provided and a consensus reached that the article mertited inclusion. Please desist with the vanity listing, and check the history, here reposted: 21:16, 1 October 2006 Glen S (Talk | contribs) (afd - keep)

Please do not remove legitimate messages from your talk page. Talk pages exist as a record of legitimate communication, and in any case, comments are available through the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted legitimate comments. Thanks. --Geniac 18:09, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion[edit]

You should review Wikipedia:Vanity guidelines before contributing articles that are entirely about yourself and your work; Wikipedia is not the place for self-promotion. To your specific question, a few articles in minor publications do not constitute notability; if you feel that some other article also fails to meet the notability guidelines, feel free to {{prod}} it or otherwise nominate it for deletion. You might also want to review Wikipedia:Notability (people), which makes it clear that notability is only a guideline, not a policy, and that articles that meet the notability guidelines may still be deleted - to wit: Failure to meet these criteria does not mean that a subject must not be included; meeting one or more does not mean that a subject must be included. Many Wikipedians oppose the use of this guideline. Let me know if you have other questions. | Mr. Darcy talk 20:05, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:V and WP:LIVING. Sources need to be referenced in the article before the tags are removed. As it stands this is completely unsourced, even if it survived an AfD.--Isotope23 13:02, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

sources added[edit]

Thanks for provided guidance. Sources have been added. Please advise on how to add linkable footnotes-thanks.

importance added[edit]

Reason for inclusion is self evident. Please advise if more needed. Thanks.

Orphan autobot tag removed[edit]

Two internal links added as per guidelines.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ecoart, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.ecoartnetwork.org/aboutus.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. The article Ecoart has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

neologism with no evidence of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:04, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
