Information icon Hello, I'm HistoryofIran. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Khaqani, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 23:07, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that he was born in the village of Melhem near Shamakhi and that the people of this village are of ethnic origin is stated on both Russian and Azerbaijani Wikipedia pages.

I'm new to wikipedia. My skills in presenting accurate sources are not sufficient. If, as you say, you are an Iranian historian, you can research and find out that Khagani was from the Melhem village of Shamakhi. Everyone in this village is an ethnic tat. Since Caucasian tats have always been a part of Iran-Persian culture, poets mostly wrote poems in Persian. Tejmyp (talk) 01:15, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
