Ten Commandments[edit]

Hello Thaliomiles. You are very welcome to leave messages on my talkpage, but if the discussion is about a particular article I will usually steer the discussion towards the associated talkpage, so other contributors (who may have watchlisted the article but not my talkpage) can contribute. Indeed, my opening salvo on Talk:Ten Commandments seems to have summoned the cavalry!

I think my prickly reaction (for which I apologise) is the result of numerous recurrent debates over minutiae that have been taking place on the Talk:Ten Commandments. Some editors are clearly troubled by the influence of the Ten Commandments on public life, and will seek any opportunity to press for alternative points of view.
