Museum of Flight links[edit]

I saw that you have been adding multiple links to digitalcollections.museumofflight.org, and that you have what I believe to be an acronym for "The Museum of Flight" in your username. Are you affiliated with the Museum of Flight? - ZLEA T\C 23:32, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I do, I am the Supervisory Librarian at The Museum of Flight and have given myself a project to add links to Wikipedia articles for aircraft and other topics that we have digitized library material for on our digital collections site. 75.172.118.39 (talk) 23:52, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, didn’t realize I wasn’t logged in when making above comment. Tmofcstanton (talk) 23:58, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine. I personally do not see a problem with what you are doing, but some editors might see it as a conflict of interest and the links as spam. Also, if you are being paid for your edits, you should read WP:PAID and disclose that you are being paid to edit. If you are not being paid to edit, then you can disregard that last part. - ZLEA T\C 01:16, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Understood, thanks for the heads up, I will review those links and act accordingly! I was just figuring that because we are a non-profit Museum and with all the content I’m posting already being up on our website in full and in public domain that it would make sense to enhance articles with relevant links. But I understand the concern and will be sure to review docs before posting any more links! Tmofcstanton (talk) 01:26, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
