I can't find any evidence to substantiate a Major League Baseball player with this name. The article was created back in 2012 by User:AndyGoff. This appears to be a hoax. LEPRICAVARK (talk) 22:46, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Delete.. there was a William Thomas Goff a.k.a. Bill Goff [1] that played in the Giants farm system in the 40s... not sure if that is the same person but regardless never played in the majors. Correction... I think I found the player indicated [2] J. William Goff with the Cards D league team in 44. Delete not a hoax - he was a minor league player and he is in the St Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. However he does not pass GNG. SportingFlyer T·C 00:39, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
