Nominator's rationale: delete. The Category's only member is Category:Taoism. It can be moved and have better company at the parent Category:Mysticism where Category:Pythagorean philosophy and Category:Neoplatonism reside. Anyway Mysticism is quite philosophic in its nature, so it's futile to try to list some especially philosophical mysticisms. Perhaps double-categorizing with some prominent subcat of Category:Philosophy is the way to assert something's philosophical importance independently of its mystical qualities. trespassers william (talk) 21:21, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete. Good call on figuring out the template. Kbdank71 12:57, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Category:WikiProject Literature articles (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
Nominator's rationale: Non-controversial housekeeping. This category is empty except for the subcategory, Category:Literature articles needing expert attention, and a soft redirect to Category:WikiProject Literature. The subcategory contains the template {{expert-subject-cat}}. As I understand the template code, if Category:WikiProject Literature articles did not exist, the subcategory automatically would be recategorized (in keeping with the soft redirect) to Category:WikiProject Literature; however, as long as the soft redirect exists, the template will keep it in the wrongly-named parent category. (Don't ask me why; I'm just reporting what I've found.) Therefore, this category must die!! Russ (talk) 19:50, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: rename. Kbdank71 12:52, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Propose renaming Category:Roman Catholic dioceses in Haïti to Category:Roman Catholic dioceses in Haiti
Nominator's rationale: Rename to remove the diacritic. The country's main article, Haiti, does not use the diacritic, nor do any other Haiti-related categories. In English, it is most commonly spelled without the diacritic. jwillbur 19:34, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Diss songs (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
Nominator's rationale: Delete: Overcategorization at its finest. No useful reason that these songs are related to each other, the very idea is a neologism, and which songs to include or exclude is completely arbitrary and WP:OR Oren0 (talk) 01:55, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
