REname per nom: Indian English generally follows British English, though it has some extremely convoluted compound nouns that seem to be a literal translation of a Hindi or Urdu compound noun. Oppose as is. Contemporary would be better than modern, but both are ambiguous. Also American can refer to anything in the Americas, and not just the United States.AioftheStorm (talk) 05:33, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
