  • Keep I'm using this category to organize my user articles; in this case I'm using this category as a tag for potential presentations at WikiMedia events, viz., WikiCon USA 2014. Perhaps, I've overlooked user categories; is there a category tool for user pages, is there a way to add categories in the user namespace? --CmdrDan (talk) 07:09, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Typically, the only categories for User space are ones that indicate groups that the editor is allied with (Wikipedians who are engineers, who belong to WikiProject Spain, etc.) or who are sockpuppet accounts. Even on drafts in your user space, categories should be added only when the article is moved into mainspace. It's not appropriate to have personal categories that don't serve organizational purposes for en.wikipedia. Maybe there is something similar you can use at WikiMedia.org? Liz Read! The fact there was "no sign of a move discussion" is being used more and more often as an oppose (especially at CFDS), and this isn't a good thing; WP:BOLD is still a thing, and there's no reason to consider an uncontroversial move a problem. Didn't notice that but I agree with that move. I don't think a formal request would be opposed as the current spelling is more popular in RS, and is in line with standard English transliteration of Arabic.
