A prequel is a film which is released later than, but tells a "leadup story" set temporally prior to, an earlier film. Frex, the second Star Wars trilogy are prequels, because they told the story leading up to the original 1977 Star Wars. Delete - While categories like this aren't unprecedented (see Category:Films directed by The Wachowskis), the difference between the two categories is that there is an article on The Wachowskis. There is no article on Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. In general a category like this covering two people is not a good idea unless it's notable enough to have a page discussing the two people's works as its own article, like the former example. Delete for Now I could be convinced that duo categories might be needed for Rodgers and Hammerstein where there was a long career together.
