The result of the discussion was: merge both. ~ Rob13Talk 02:39, 3 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: merge, no difference in scope, follow-up on this earlier discussion. Marcocapelle (talk) 22:55, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: upmerge as proposed. ~ Rob13Talk 02:38, 3 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: The creator of this category misunderstood "prequel" as meaning "any narrative work with at least one sequel". Since this category isn't so populated, it could be merged with the parent category "Prequel films". Kailash29792 (talk) 13:09, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Some films have gone missing.PhysicsScientist (talk) 13:18, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
What is a prequel?PhysicsScientist (talk) 13:21, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Films like Billa II or Insidious: Chapter 3 are prequels. Set chronologically before, but released after. Kailash29792 (talk) 17:03, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
A prequel is a film which is released later than, but tells a "leadup story" set temporally prior to, an earlier film. Frex, the second Star Wars trilogy are prequels, because they told the story leading up to the original 1977 Star Wars. But the original 1977 Star Wars is not a prequel just because it had sequels, because it was the first film in the series to get made. Bearcat (talk) 04:43, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That I perfectly know, but the creator of the category does not, despite being told earlier. Besides, there are not that many prequels in Indian cinema, so I think the category doesn't deserve to exist. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:55, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The creator of the category is who I was responding to in the first place, so there was really no need to get defensive about what you do or don't know. Bearcat (talk) 18:06, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Upmerge as nominated. I would have also said to upmerge to Category:Indian films, if not for the fact that all these articles are alresdy elsewhere in that tree. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 12:47, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: There's only two of them, and they don't plan on making more.  Sandstein  07:06, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
