The result of the discussion was: delete. I have moved the sole article in this category to Category:Siege equipment. (non-admin closure) feminist 04:36, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Not clear what the categorization criterion is here. —swpbT 20:20, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I was under the impression that we have deleted similar categories before. Dimadick (talk) 18:10, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per precedent of liberals, conservatives, etc. We can only allow such terms where they signify membership of a political party. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:25, 22 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. We categorize politicians and political activists by the specific political party that they're a member of; we do not categorize actresses or writers or sportspeople (or even politicians) by general ideologies like "liberal" or "conservative" or "progressive" or "reactionary". The result of the discussion was: merge (non-admin closure). Marcocapelle (talk) 12:53, 25 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Propose merging
Nominator's rationale: Pointless subcategory, because all the subcats of Category:Ukrainian sports coaches are of coaches by sport. Doesn't seem to have any parallels elsewhere in the category tree -- even Category:American sports coaches has no such subcat, and it is the most heavily-populated of Category:Sports coaches by nationality. PS I subsequently found the Russian category, added it to this nomination. A search shows that these are the only 2 such categories. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 14:36, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Agreed; merge. —swpbT 13:58, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
