The result of the discussion was: rename (non-admin closure). Marcocapelle (talk) 06:49, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: These "trade unions" aren't - they're representative bodies for participants in professional sport but they aren't (legally) trade unions. The Drover's Wife (talk) 23:51, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That article describes it as "trade union". RevelationDirect (talk) 22:32, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Professional Footballers Australia is in a different sport and is a member of the Australian Council of Trade Unions. The AFL bodies (which this category concerns) don't call themselves trade unions, aren't legally trade unions, and aren't part of the ACTU. Nominator's rationale: delete per WP:SMALLCAT, only one article and little growth potential. No need to merge, the article is already in the parent category. Marcocapelle (talk) 08:41, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support With no objection to recreating if we ever get up to 5 or so articles. RevelationDirect (talk) 02:17, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete -- the one article is already in the parent. Peterkingiron (talk) 18:51, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Per WP:PERFCAT and WP:OCAWARD (WP:NONDEFINING)
When foreign leaders visit South Africa, or vice versa, the Order of Good Hope is given out as souvenir to commemorate the visit. Recipients like Bill Clinton and Fidel Castro just don't seem to defined by this award. If you want to see the clutter this type of category creates at the article level, take a look the train wreck at the bottom of this article. If we delete this category, the recipients will still be listed here. - RevelationDirect (talk) 04:15, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Note: Notified Mimich as the category creator and I added this discussion to WikiProject South Africa. – RevelationDirect (talk) 04:15, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
