REname (or merge) to Category:Dominican Republic people of Jewish descent. I doubt there were enough Jews to warrant a split between Ashkenazi and Sephadic Jews. Oppose. While these jobs are certainly related in some ways, they're fundamentally different things — a surveyor goes out and physically surveys the land, while a topographer sits in an office analyzing the results of the surveyor's work. Bearcat (talk) 21:52, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose -- They are not the same. If they have to be merged the target should be Category:Topographic surveyors but that would be a subset of surveyors.
