Nominator's rationale: There is no valid indication that all of these people are members of a single family. The category appears to have been created by a person of the same name based on his private genealogical research. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:53, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Per numerous precedent in CfD and WP:OCEPON, other existing/more appropriate categorization by works is sufficient in this case without need of eponymous category. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 16:32, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Every musician does not automatically get an eponymous category just because she exists — these are created only for musicians who have a lot of spinoff content that need categorization beyond the standard schemes that already exist. They are not created just to hold the standard troika of albums category + songs category + eponym — they are created in instances like Category:Leonard Cohen, where there are also books by and about him, concert tours, tribute albums, an independently notable son, five people who specifically derived their notability from having been collaborators of Cohen's, a tribute band and three films for which Cohen wrote the score — so the eponymous category is justified in that instance, because there's a lot of stuff that needs Cohen-related categorization beyond the standard scheme that every musical artist already has. But it's not warranted here, because McCurdy doesn't have any further spinoff content over and above the "albums cat + songs cat + BLP combo" that every artist already has. • Delete, though the category has 2 EPs and 2 singles of very dubious notability, there's no need for an eponymous category. It seems to be a product of a bloated fan page. Sionk (talk) 06:14, 7 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Where's Wally? is the main title. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 05:02, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. Although it did take me some time to find the main article... Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:04, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Potentially rename per nom. However, what's the character called in these games? If they're primarily American, i.e. he's typically called "Waldo" and not "Wally", I'd advocate for keeping on WP:ENGVAR grounds. Nyttend (talk) 23:52, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak oppose, all articles in the category have the name Waldo in it. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:32, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
