Nominator's rationale: merge/delete per WP:SMALLCAT, in all of the nominated categories together, there are only four articles: Zapotec civilization itself and three articles that are also in Category:Zapotec sites and they are good at that spot. The four articles are in the first 7 categories of this nomination. All other categories are container categories which naturally become empty after merging the first 7 categories.   • Keep most of the tree on the century level, Merge some into century level cats - WP:SMALLCAT applies only to specific years and perhaps decades (1521).GreyShark (dibra) 09:05, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mountains and hills of the Eifel[edit]

The result of the discussion was: partial upmerge to Category:Mountains and hills of the Eifel. I verified that all of the articles are already in an appropriate country/state category, so a full upmerge is not required. -- Black Falcon (talk) 22:38, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Excessive categorisation. We generally categorise by country/state and mountain region, but not both. We already have Category:Mountains and hills of the Eifel, Category:Mountains and hills of North Rhine-Westphalia, Category:Mountains and hills of Rhineland-Palatinate, Category:Mountains and hills of Belgium and Category:Mountains and hills of Luxembourg, so there is no need for these categories added by a (currently banned) user. The articles should be upmerged into Category:Mountains and hills of the Eifel as well as their respective country or state categories. --Bermicourt (talk) 12:38, 7 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
