  • Oppose (as creator) – Matches categories (and redirects) for other namespaces. The category is a logical location for Wikipedia administration pages relating to the category namespace (though obviously it's a redirect to the actual location). The nominator didn't actually provide any real reason the redirect should be deleted. Since the page is for administration purposes, not readers, the fact that it's "meta" isn't an issue. Nominator's rationale: to make consistent with other similar categories, e.g. Category:People from North East Derbyshire (district), Category:People from South Gloucestershire (district) (and many others) and to enable it to be used with Template:Cathead English people by place, note this would undo Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2017 June 20#Category:People from South Derbyshire (district), which used as its (to my thinking weaker) argument that the parent category and main article South Derbyshire were not disambiguated.   • 'Comment -- This is difficult to judge because some appear to have been emptied out of process. Where only one exists, we should keep that. In some countries there may be law enforcement agencies that are not technically police. In those cases we may keep "law enforcement agencies" and merge "police agencies", but all should come under a single parent, whose children may vary salightly in title according to local circumstances.   • There is a very well established category tree based on Category:Law enforcement agencies. There isn't one based on police and there are few Police categories at all until you get down to categories based on individual local police forces like Category:Delhi Police.
