Nominator's rationale: This represents over categorizing by unrelated characteristics. TM 19:37, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: Merge to both parents (WP:NAC). DexDor (talk) 05:00, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: WP:SMALLCAT for just two photographers. As always, every possible combination of occupation with individual city of origin does not automatically get its own standalone category the moment one or two articles exist to be filed in it -- this would be fine if there were a lot of articles to file here, but not just one or two. This is the only such category that exists for any city in Iran -- even Tehran doesn't have one -- so it's not a "large overall accepted sub-categorization scheme" for the purposes of being exempted from SMALLCAT, and with just 58 articles the parent category is far from being large enough to require subcategory diffusion either. Nominator's rationale: delete, this category does not contain any verses, just chapters. All chapters are in Category:Book of Revelation chapters already. Marcocapelle (talk) 15:34, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete also the categories for individual chapters (of which there are three). We really do not need to split further. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:18, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: rename to align with article name Cosmology of Tolkien's legendarium. The nomination was declined by User:Armbrust for speedy renaming. Marcocapelle (talk) 05:46, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Middle-earth theology" is much less pretentious than "Cosmology of Tolkien's legendarium". Oculi (talk) 19:03, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Oculi. "Legendarium" sounds like a name Hyacinth Bucket might use for her diary. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 00:16, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep While legendarium or mythopoeia might be the more accurate academic terms, theology is clearer for ordinary folk searching for Middle-earth articles. We might consider renaming the article instead, per WP:COMMONNAME. --Mark viking (talk) 00:47, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak keep as the article has elements of mythology, theology and folklore Hugo999 (talk) 23:46, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Rename somehow. Theology refers to a God. There seem to be higher powers at work in Tolkein's universe, such as the Valar, but not gods. Cosmology is certainly better, but I am not fond of that either. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:13, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
