Nominator's rationale: What's the distinction between this and its parent, Category:Crime films based on actual events? The scope note for this one even says "Films based on actual crimes." Maybe there's a fine distinction we could draw, but shouldn't we just merge these? "True crime films" might make for a more recognizable name, but I'd be fine with an upmerge as well. • Merge or reverse merge per nom. Marcocapelle (talk) 18:10, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge or upmerge: "Crime films based on actual events" seems like the more accurately named category. I would support such an upmerge in particular but any sort of merge would be preferable to the current duplicate category situation. --Nicholas0 (talk) 17:45, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: no consensus. It may be helpful to create the proposed category as a sub-category of the existing one; Apollo 13 notably features the moon in film, even though it's not set on the moon (or fictional). – Fayenatic London 09:42, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Category is intended for "films...set on the Moon" per its description, so the proposed category name would be more clear and accurate, and there are many "Film set in/on..." categories that exist as precedent for this rename. DonIago (talk) 17:25, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Duplicate. I do not see anything in this category that could not better belong to the parent target category, most entries being already duplicated. Note that content specific to a unit called exactly Foreign Legion is already found separately at French Foreign Legion. Place Clichy (talk) 13:58, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge per nominator. --Bsherr (talk) 20:15, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge per nominator Johnbod (talk) 22:39, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge -- Foreign Legion normally means the French one. The rest of a hotchpotch of units serving permanently somewhere other than their native country. In that respect one might at Kings German Legion and medieval Scots fighting for the French in the 100 years war. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:05, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
