Nominator's rationale: delete per WP:OCAWARD and WP:NONDEF, most biographies mention the prize merely in passing, e.g. in Sergei Kovalev it only appears in the infobox. Marcocapelle (talk) 21:02, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete -- This is a significant Award, but like many reflects notability, rather than creating it. There is already a detailed list which does the job better than a category ever can. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:14, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Eponymous category without an eponymous article. Only one article. Rathfelder (talk) 20:55, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: As the Holodomor and Causes of the Holodomor articles (and their sources) reflect, there is no academic consensus on whether this famine was deliberately organized or not. This category labels a number of individuals as "prepetrators". This elevates arguments on one side of the academic debate to a statement of fact. MarioGom (talk) 16:08, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, categorizing politicians in power during a catastrophic event is a kind of WP:PERFCAT, regardless whether they are personally responsible for the event. Marcocapelle (talk) 16:16, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. The causes of the Holodomor are still debated and a category is too blunt an instrument for assigning responsibility in this case. It's not like "Holocaust perpetrators" many of whom were tried and convicted of their crimes. Zerach (talk) 09:07, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete -- I have to follow links to find out what Holodomor meant: it appears to be the Ukrainian aspect of the Soviet famine of the early 1930s, which was manufactured by taxing peasants beyond their ability to pay. If this is kept it needs a main article and headnote explaining what it is, but I am not convinced that we need a category: much better listify in a main article. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:19, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Rename to Category:People of the Holodomor. We already have a category Category:People of the Holocaust which covers both victims and perpetrators. Dimadick (talk) 07:09, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Eponymous category without an eponymous article, only a redirect to the only actual article, Hannan Majid. Maybe we should rename the category after him. Rathfelder (talk) 07:05, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: The Algonquin people are a specific subgroup of the Algonquian peoples, but this category is for creatures in various Algonquian mythologies (not just mythology specific to the Algonquin people). Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 05:48, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
