Nominator's rationale: This is a small category with little to no potential for growth. It may even decrease in size in the near future. ―Susmuffin Talk 11:50, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep I'm one of the (I suspect very few) people who've read Tolkien. Right to the dozen volume History. So don't be too quick to say, "no potential for growth". Andy Dingley (talk) 00:20, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Given the recent trend at AfD, there is indeed little room for growth. Right now this category has 3 articles, and soon it will be just two if not one. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:39, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep The category has lots of potential; I just added another page. There's going to be a LotR TV series and so we can expect a boom in Tolkien topics. Andrew D. (talk) 16:37, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
AfD at the moment seems to be deleting all Tolkien sub-topics. 8-( Andy Dingley (talk) 20:19, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep It sems to have potential for growth. Dimadick (talk) 16:40, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Some bring up the LotR TV show. However, some things suggest there will be no Shire in that show, so it does not directly suggest this category will grow, so I see no reason to have this one at present.John Pack Lambert (talk) 19:50, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete for now, the category might be revived if and when substiantially more content becomes available. Marcocapelle (talk) 00:00, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, ‑‑Trialpears (talk) 23:07, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Relist comment No members are currently at AfD. More comments or confirmation of previous opinions considering the stabilized state would be appreciated. ‑‑Trialpears (talk) 23:07, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note: I was aware that none of the articles in the category were nominated at AfD. So it leaves matters unchanged. Marcocapelle (talk) 09:06, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Article (apparently) purports to contain all players who have ever been on the winning team in any football cup final which took place at Wembley Stadium (although the cat creator only added 14 players out of the 600+ who would be eligible). Too broad/vague. ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:34, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - at present it seems to contain Grimsby players from the 2016 National League play-off Final. There would be around 150 per year (3 play-off finals + Cup final + League Cup (?)). Oculi (talk) 10:59, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Add in the FA Vase, FLTrophy, community shield, occasional European finals etc. and the list would be massively longer than at present and 'non-defining'. Eagleash (talk) 11:16, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - simply not needed. GiantSnowman 14:30, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nominator....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 16:03, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete -- too wide-ranging to be useful. Peterkingiron (talk) 22:55, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Unworkable and adds no value. No Great Shaker (talk) 13:58, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
