  1. At the moment, there is no need for specific "of residence" category. It is the only subcategory of Category:Russia user templates.

There's been a scheme of "albums by artist" and "songs by artist" for years but never one that places the two in a "works by" parent category. As I pointed out at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2019 June 22#Category:Sinéad O'Connor, the "Works by..." tree works well for other fields, even with just two subcats: "See Category:Works by filmmaker or Category:Works by writer to see how the "works" tree can be correctly and effectively implemented. Category:Works by musician should aim to be as good as those."   • Delete per WP:OCEPON, note that we do not need a parent category when there is just a main article with an albums and songs subcategory because in that case all content is linked by the {{Songs by artist}} and {{Albums by artist}} templates already. What do you mean by an "eponymous category"? Category:Cardi B presumably, but do you include Category:Works by Cardi B in that too? Category:Cardi B albums‎ and Category:Cardi B songs as well? Andy Dingley (talk) 09:10, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
