  • Delete -- Categorising subsidiary titles does not help: it is a waste of space. If the titles did have a separate earlier history, the appropriate course would be to purge the people using the subsidiary title replacing it with a subcat or a see also item. Category:Vice-Chancellors by university[edit]

The result of the discussion was: merge to Category:Heads of universities and colleges. There is a rough consensus for merging/deleting this category, especially when considering the outcome of related discussions. There was also an alternative proposal to repurpose the category, however this did not reach a consensus. If a category for executive/ceremonial roles is desired please start another discussion. Nominator's rationale: Essentially a subcategory of Category:Heads of universities and colleges, but an intermediate category based on title isnt helpful.
